The sides are decorated with beautifully detailed blue lettering, providing measurements for ingredients including flour, sugar, rice, raisins, sultanas, tapioca, chopped suet and ground almonds. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAlongside the ingredient measurements are traditional British liquid measures, including pints, gills, ounces and tablespoons, making this an ingenious piece of domestic kitchen equipment from a time before modern electronic kitchen scales.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe base retains its original blue printed registration details, reading 'TIT-BITS – DO-WELL COOKING MEASURE', together with registered design number 685757, dating the original design to 1921.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA wonderful example of nostalgic British kitchenalia, with particularly attractive typography and considerable decorative appeal.
