The ceramic insert is mounted within its original WMF nickel-plated gallery frame, giving the piece a refined architectural appearance typical of early German Art Deco design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"852\" data-start=\"598\"\u003eDesigned as a heat stand for a teapot or coffee pot, it would originally have formed part of a coordinated WMF\/Wächtersbach tea or coffee service.
