Emerging from opposite sides of the bowl, the creatures curve upwards and appear to bite one another’s necks before merging into the arched handle. The unusual organic design gives the piece a wonderfully theatrical Art Deco appearance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eA highly decorative piece of Hungarian art pottery, ideal for display as a centrepiece, decorative bowl or collector’s item.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe underside is unmarked; however, the form, glaze and dimensions correspond closely with documented Zsolnay examples of this design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCondition\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eIn good vintage condition with age-related crazing to the glaze and areas of rubbing and glaze loss around the underside of the foot rim. There is also some natural variation within the lustre finish.
