This rare antique chocolate mould tray is stamped by the renowned German maker Anton Reiche and features a delightful selection of detailed animal figures, including dogs, lambs, lions, pigs, and rocking horses. Each row showcases a different moulded animal, all crisply cast in relief, reflecting the superb craftsmanship for which Reiche was internationally known. Made of tinned metal, the tray has a warm patina from decades of use and would have originally been used in a commercial confectionery setting. Whether wall-mounted as industrial kitchen décor or collected as part of serious chocolate mould history, this is a fine and decorative piece from one of the most celebrated mould makers of the early 20th century.

Condition
The mould is in good antique condition with surface wear and patination consistent with age and previous use. The tinning has dulled in areas, and there are signs of chocolate-making residue and faint oxidisation, adding to its authentic working character. All mould impressions remain crisp and well-defined, and the tray lies flat and true.
