Antique Mother of Pearl Thread Winder – Gothic Cross with Circular Engraving c.1850

This striking thread winder features a Gothic-style cross design with finely pointed arms and concentric ‘bullseye’ carvings to the surface. Hand-cut from lustrous mother of pearl, it’s a wonderfully decorative sewing tool, evocative of the Victorian passion for both craftsmanship and embellishment. In very good condition, one slight nibble to edge.
