A vintage illuminated Wolseley car badge, dating to the early to mid 20th century, likely produced for use as a bonnet or grille-mounted light. The badge features the Wolseley name in raised red lettering set into a cream ground, housed within a chrome-plated metal surround with stylised winged detailing. It retains its original wiring and bulb holder, with signs of age and use throughout. Pieces such as this were designed to be wired into the vehicle’s electrical system and illuminated when in use, and are now sought after as automobilia display items for garages, workshops, or period interiors.
