Antique wooden two-tier egg stand, likely late Victorian to Edwardian, dating from around the late 19th to early 20th century. This charming country kitchen piece is made from wood with turned supports, shaped feet and two pierced tiers designed to hold eggs. It has a lovely aged patina, with darker areas of wear and staining from use, giving it an authentic farmhouse look.

The stand holds up to twelve eggs, with six holes to each tier. It is sturdy despite the visible wood splits and can still be used to display eggs, as well as being an attractive decorative piece for a period kitchen, dresser, pantry, farmhouse interior, shop display or vintage kitchenalia collection.

Condition

Used antique condition with age-related wear, marks, staining, darkening and patina throughout. There are visible splits to some of the turned wooden supports, along with small knocks and general wear to the edges. The item remains sturdy and suitable for display use.
