A rare and characterful antique painted metal poison cabinet, dating from the early 20th century (circa 1910s–1930s). Originally used in a chemist, apothecary, or medical setting for the secure storage of hazardous substances, this cabinet has an original painted finish in cream/white with visible age wear. The glass-fronted door is deeply etched with the word “POISON” and retains its working lock with key. Inside are two glass shelves and the rear of the cabinet has sturdy wall-mount brackets. This is a fantastic display or collector’s piece, perfect for interiors with an industrial, apothecary, or curiosity aesthetic.
