This is the well-known Sylvac seated rabbit model 1028, characterised by its bold upright ears, rounded form and expressive brown painted eyes. The colour is particularly appealing, sitting between sage and emerald, with attractive tonal variation typical of Sylvac glazes. The base is fully marked with the impressed Sylvac England mark and model number 1028. A strong display piece that works equally well as a statement ornament, spring or Easter display, or within a wider collection of British art pottery and animal figures.
