This example has a red Gabrielle Designs label inside the puppet, and the original swing tag includes the wording “Darkest Peru to London, England via Paddington Stn” and “Design Registration Applied For,” consistent with early production. Paddington is dressed in his original brown felt duffle-style coat with wooden-style toggle fastenings and a fixed hood, and wears his original orange felt hat secured with a safety pin.
