Vintage Maileg Giant Pixy Girl Advent Calendar 148cm

A wonderful oversized Maileg Pixy Advent Calendar, dating to around the early 2010s and standing an impressive 148 cm tall.

This earlier Maileg design is much larger than most of the company's current Advent Pixies and makes a fantastic statement Christmas decoration. The long-legged textile Pixy wears a tall red pointed hat, red and cream striped stockings and a grey dress decorated with an assortment of red, cream, blue and tan fabric pockets. There are 24 numbered pockets and fixing rings running down the front, one for each day leading up to Christmas, ready to hold small treats, notes or gifts.

Lovely Maileg details include the different patterned fabrics, numbered appliqué pockets, tiny numbered buttons, red textile mittens and the characteristically simple embroidered Pixy face. A hanging loop at the back of the neck allows the Pixy to be displayed full length.
