Vintage Singer Sewing Machines Embossed Copper Advertising Pin Dish

An unusual vintage copper advertising pin dish for Singer Sewing Machines, believed to have been produced as a promotional item during the early to mid-20th century.

Made from substantial, thick copper, the circular dish features a beautifully embossed design incorporating the distinctive Singer 'S' trademark, a sewing machine illustration and the words 'Singer Sewing Machines' in raised lettering.

The design is deeply embossed, with the impression visible in reverse on the underside. The dish has a shallow, gently curved form with a shaped rim and retains a lovely warm copper patina, with areas of darker tarnishing developed over time.

Singer was one of the world's leading sewing machine manufacturers, and the company produced a wide range of advertising and promotional materials for its dealers and customers. This unusual little dish may have been intended as a promotional gift or shop-counter accessory, although its exact original purpose is unknown.

An attractive and unusual piece of sewing machine advertising memorabilia, particularly appealing to collectors of Singer, vintage haberdashery and early commercial advertising.
