Antique Porcelain Doll Shoulder Head Bust Rosy Cheeks 19th Century
A finely modelled antique porcelain doll shoulder head bust dating to the mid–late 19th century. The bust features black painted hair with softly moulded waves, pale blue painted eyes and delicately blushed rosy cheeks, giving the piece a calm, expressive character. The facial painting is well balanced and typical of quality German porcelain production of the period.
Originally made as a doll component, this example now works beautifully as a decorative object, cabinet piece or curiosity. The underside remains open with original firing holes around the base, and the interior shows the expected unglazed finish. The porcelain surface retains a good gloss with minor speckling and small kiln-related marks visible on close inspection, all consistent with age and manufacture.
