Antique Wet Brush Box Wooden Trade Display Barber Shoe Shine
Original early 20th century wooden “Wet Brush” box with hand-painted gilt lettering and black shadow detail to the front. These practical trade boxes were used in barbershops and shoe shine stands for storing damp brushes. This example retains a rich dark stained finish with honest wear and a pleasing aged patina. The hinged lid opens to a clean interior and the long rectangular shape makes it ideal for brushes, tools or decorative storage. A highly decorative piece of trade display, perfect for barbershop interiors, boot rooms, bathrooms or prop styling. The typography and worn surface give excellent character and authenticity.
