Edwardian Carved Oak Cheese Board with Plate Early 20th Century
A characterful Edwardian carved oak cheese board dating to the early 20th century, featuring deeply carved “CHEESE” lettering around the rim. Made from solid oak with a rich, warm patina, this piece embodies classic English kitchenalia. The recessed centre is designed to hold a serving plate and the reverse includes a hanging hole, allowing for both practical use and decorative wall display. The board is supplied with a blue and white transferware plate which fits neatly within the recess; however, this plate is a later addition and not original to the board. A highly decorative and functional piece, ideal for country kitchens, period interiors, or prop styling.
