Vintage Käthe Kruse Doll 1779 Plastic Head Cloth Body 50cm

A charming vintage Käthe Kruse doll model 1779 with moulded plastic head, soft cloth body and beautifully styled braided hair. The doll is dressed in a lovely white floral dress with burgundy shoes, socks and a woven shoulder bag, giving her wonderful traditional European character and excellent display appeal.

This larger 50cm example has beautifully painted facial features with rosy cheeks and expressive detailing typical of later Käthe Kruse dolls. The soft cloth body has jointed limbs and the doll displays beautifully for collectors, nursery décor or traditional interior styling.

The doll carries model number 1779 on the sole of her foot. She has the classic plastic head and cloth body construction associated with later 20th century Käthe Kruse production. Hair remains neatly braided and the overall presentation is particularly attractive.
