Sylko Machine Twist Oak Haberdashery Cabinet with Glass Drawers

An original mid-20th century haberdashery display cabinet produced for Sylko Machine Twist thread. Constructed in oak with a warm honey tone, the cabinet features nine shallow drawers, each fitted with a full-width glass front and internal wooden dividers designed for the organised display of cotton reels. The cabinet retains its original blue Sylko branding panel fitted to the top front edge, with red and black lettering, along with original Sylko decals to the sides. Robust and practical, this cabinet works equally well as a collector’s display piece, studio or sewing-room storage, or as characterful retail or film-prop furniture. A strong example of British industrial haberdashery design.
