A lovely antique bread knife with a carved treen wooden handle and steel blade.

The handle has simple but attractive carved decoration, with a wheat-style design to one side and a warm aged patina. The reverse is plainer, with light incised detail. The steel blade has a broad rounded bread knife form and shows age-related darkening and surface wear.

A good decorative piece of antique country kitchenalia, ideal for a farmhouse kitchen, dresser display, pantry collection or treen collector.

Good antique condition with age-related wear throughout. The wooden handle has surface marks, patina and wear from use. The steel blade has darkening, pitting, tarnish and age-related surface wear, as shown.
