Antique Hand-Painted Tin Prize Plaques – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize – Fairground / Agricultural Show Signs c.1900-1920s

This is a rare complete set of three antique hand-painted tin prize plaques featuring First Prize, 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prize. These charming signs would have been awarded or displayed at agricultural shows, village fairs, or horticultural competitions in the early 20th century.

Each plaque is hand-painted in deep green with gold decorative detailing and lettering, with a wonderfully aged patina that reflects their history and authenticity. The backs are plain green tin and include a simple metal loop for hanging.

This is a rare opportunity to own a matching set of three early prize plaques, which are highly sought after by collectors of vintage fairground, agricultural, or country show memorabilia. They also make fantastic decorative pieces for a vintage interior or unique props for period TV, film, or theatre productions.
