An antique porcelain doll shoulder head bust dating to the mid–late 19th century. This attractive example features glossy black painted hair, pale blue eyes and softly blushed rosy cheeks, giving it a gentle and expressive character. The modelling is well balanced and the proportions allow it to sit comfortably as a decorative object, whether displayed alone or grouped with other antique pieces.

The bust remains in original, unrestored condition and shows the subtle surface variation and small firing marks expected of antique porcelain. There is light age-related wear to the rim and minor manufacturing or age-related marks visible on close inspection, all consistent with its age.
