An original early 20th century “Speshul” gilt spelter figure depicting a boy musician holding an accordion. The figure is cast with charming detail, wearing patched trousers and cap, standing on a square plinth marked “Speshul” to the front.

The “Speshul” series of figures were produced in Britain in the early 1900s, representing humorous street characters and working folk in a whimsical style. Today, they are highly collectible for their quirky charm and nostalgic appeal.
