A characterful antique carved wooden breadboard dating to the early 20th century. This round board is decorated with a hand-carved floral and foliate border and has developed a warm, honey-toned patina from decades of use. The front surface displays knife marks and wear consistent with daily kitchen use, giving it the rustic authenticity that makes these boards so sought after.
The reverse is lighter in tone and much smoother, showing only minor surface marks and faint staining, a pleasing contrast to the worn working face. Together, both sides demonstrate its genuine age and long domestic history.
A lovely decorative piece of kitchenalia, perfect for farmhouse interiors, rustic styling, or as part of a treen collection.
