Gabrielle Designs Paddington Bear Vintage with Coat Hat & Dunlop Boots

A wonderful vintage Paddington Bear made by Gabrielle Designs, the original creators of Paddington in the 1970s and 1980s. This beautifully made medium-sized (45cm) bear features long plush fur, felt paw pads, and his iconic outfit: the red felt hat, dark green duffle coat with wooden toggles, and bright red Dunlop wellington boots — a key detail on early Gabrielle Designs Paddingtons.

This example also retains his original Gabrielle Designs swing tag and fold-out information leaflet, both increasingly scarce and highly sought after. A reproduction “Darkest Peru” luggage tag is included to complete his signature Paddington look.

With lovely colouring, soft fur, and the warm handmade character typical of Gabrielle Designs pieces, this 45cm Paddington displays beautifully and is a wonderful collector’s example.
