Vintage Carved Wooden Floral Butter Stamp / Treen Dairy Mould

A beautiful vintage wooden butter stamp, carved with a decorative floral design to the circular face. The design features a large flower with leaves and smaller foliage details, framed by a carved border around the edge.

The stamp has a turned wooden handle to the reverse and would originally have been used to impress a decorative pattern into butter. Today it makes a lovely piece of country kitchenalia, treen or dairy-related collectable, with a rich warm colour and attractive aged patina.
