A charming vintage mid-century footstool, dating to approximately the 1950s–1960s, with an unusual kidney-shaped seat upholstered in dark green leather.

The generously padded, curved seat sits on four solid wooden legs, joined by cross stretchers beneath. The combination of the dark green upholstery and warm-toned wood gives the stool a distinctive retro character.

Compact and practical, this lovely little stool would make an attractive addition to a living room, bedroom or dressing room, either as a footrest or an occasional stool.
