Vintage SylvaC 990 Fawn Snub-Nosed Rabbit

A charming vintage SylvaC pottery rabbit in the warm fawn or beige colourway.

Modelled seated with tall upright ears, a rounded tail and the endearing snub-nosed expression for which SylvaC rabbits are particularly well known. The softly mottled glaze highlights the moulded fur and detailing of the ears. The underside bears the impressed SylvaC factory mark, Made in England and mould number 990.

SylvaC’s distinctive rabbits were introduced during the 1930s and produced in numerous poses, sizes and colourways. They remain among the factory’s most recognisable and collectable designs.
