Vintage Telfers Meat Pies Advertising Plate

A charming vintage advertising plate produced by Alfred Meakin for Telfers Meat Pies, dating to around the mid-20th century.

Made from white glazed earthenware, the plate features bold blue lettering advertising 'TELFERS MEAT PIES', together with the cheerful slogan 'Always So Good!' in flowing script.

The reverse bears the Alfred Meakin Hotel Ware backstamp, indicating its manufacture as commercial catering ware. Telfers were a familiar name in British cafés and food establishments during the mid-20th century.

An unusual surviving piece of British food advertising, particularly appealing to collectors of vintage advertising, kitchenalia and traditional café memorabilia.
