Original vintage Typhoo Tea 4 oz packet from the “£10,000 Tour of Britain” football promotion, featuring No. 22 Mike Summerbee of Manchester City from the International Football Stars series. The packet advertises the Tour of Britain game and the collect-any-12 football stars offer, with instructions to send away for an 8 x 10 inch colour picture. A lovely piece of 1960s British football, advertising and grocery packaging history, especially appealing to Manchester City collectors, Typhoo Tea collectors and football trade-card collectors.

Condition

Unopened vintage packet in good displayable condition for age. The cardboard packet has age toning, light staining, corner and edge wear, creasing, small surface marks and some rubbing to the printed panels. The top edge appears slightly uneven from age/storage, but the packet remains sealed/unopened and displays very well. Please see photos for full condition.
